Super easy! Pop to your booking confirmation email and the options will be in there. Changes to your booking are allowed up to 3 hours before your booked time. This is to allow enough time for others to book their Private Dog Park session if you need to change your booking.

We encourage you to reschedule your booking instead of cancellation. You may cancel your booking for a full refund up to 3 hours prior to your booking, after that your booking is non-refundable. 

Canine Compound is 4 minutes from Palmerston North boundary, toward Longburn, Manawatu. Our exact location is provided upon booking to ensure our space remains private for users. 

Yes absolutely, however you will need to make direct contact with us to do this. Your booking confirmation will have our cellphone number at the bottom.

No. Our pond and other tracks are strictly not part of your hire session. It is entirely open (zero fencing) and contains multiple hazards. Loads of prey animals live in around our pond and dogs with unreliable recall could end up at our neighbouring properties which would result in Canine Compound being closed. We take any unauthorised access outside of Canine Compound seriously and won't allow visitors to return if the Terms & Conditions are ignored.

No, our pond is not safe and contains multiple hazards. It goes straight down and has minimal 'landing' areas to safely get out. There is thick pond weed making swimming challenging in many places, large eels big enough to take small dogs under and the water level fluctuates often. We understand it looks like the perfect 'splash planet' for our dogs but their safety & yours must come first. We hope to one day make it safe enough for visitors and dogs to enjoy as part of their booking!

If you can't see the time you are wanting in our booking calendar it is likely that space is already booked. Our space books out in advance often and as much as we would love to have you visit or in at your preferred time we can only allow for 1 booking at a time. Our parking space will accommodate wheel chair access vehicles, and our yard is flat surface entry. In-short, yes. However our ground is undulating and uneven in many places with sand, stones, small mud holes and soft mulch. Our shelter area is not currently accessible by wheelchair.

We have 1.6metre high deer netting installed, with a bottom and top wire additional. Overlayed on the bottom 600mm high is small 50mm diamond shape netting to ensure even the smallest of visitors are kept safe!

No your booking is for the time booked, please enter at your booked time. Entering early interrupts prior users bookings and our track is a one land track not designed for two vehicles in opposite directions.

Sure are! Gate timings are monitored and which parts are accessed too. Please know you are on our private property & our home where we are frequently around other areas or close by. We won't interrupt your booking session however you may hear us occasionally.
